Beneath the surface, a precise sequence of materials performs: British fleece wool for resilience and moisture regulation, followed by the long fibers of Moosburger horsetail to resist compression; Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere for a finer, softer transition and temperature moderation; and a core blend of Real Shetland Wool and organic cotton for body and absorption. The spring system uses two hand-nested, vanadium steel calico pocket layers with 3,296 springs in King size, delivering independent support. The border is reinforced with coir and wool, four rows of hand side-stitching to extend the usable sleep surface, and hand-tufting with woollen tufts to compress the filling into a stable, consistent depth at every tuft point.
